Welcome to Break The Mold, where I offer resource management consulting (think resource consents and help with planning processes) and employment law advocacy (personal grievances, employee/employer relationship management etc).
Why both? Before I did my Masters in Planning and moved to Fairlie I worked in employment law advocacy in Christchurch. I figured when starting my own business it made sense to utilise as many skillsets as possible, and I love nothing more than a bit of variety in my workday.
I look forward to supporting people in South Canterbury (and further afield) to develop their properties or manage their workplace environment.

Meet Melissa McMullan
I’m originally from a Mid Canterbury sheep and beef farm and with parents who have been self employed my whole life the idea of being my own boss has always been something I have liked the idea of.
With over 5 years of Planning experience in local government and the private sector in South Canterbury, and 3 years of Employment Law Advocacy work in Christchurch prior to moving to Fairlie I have a unique skill set.
When I’m not working I like to be outside as much as possible tramping, helping out back on the farm, and spending quality time with loved ones.
